Week of Prayer for Christian Unity Screening Panelists
Dcn. Johannes Fichtenbauer
Born 1956 in Vienna, Austria. MA in Theology and 15 years of teaching fundamental theology. Served for more than 20 years as Head Deacon and director for the training of permanent deacons in the Archdiocese of Vienna under Cardinal Christoph Schönborn. Married to Christi for more than 40 years. Five adult children and seven grandchildren. Involved in the Catholic Charismatic Renewal (CCR) since the 1970’s. Currently Johannes serves as a member of the “International Service of Communion” to coordinate through CHARIS the spread of the CCR worldwide. The couple cofounded an ecumenical covenant community in Vienna. Since also more than 20 years Johannes serves as the President of the “European Network of Communities” (ENC) – a “Family” of more than hundred communities in East- and West-Europe. As the chairman of the “Weg der Versöhnung” (Path for Reconciliation) Johannes pioneered for more than 30 years a reconciliation process between the Catholic Church and the Evangelical free-churches in Austria. In this capacity he is also serves as one of the leaders of the ecumenical initiative “Together for Europe”. Johannes is the European Director of “Toward Jerusalem Council II” and one of the International Elders. This initiative works for reconciliation between the Christians from the nations and the Messianic-Jewish believers. He is also a member of the semi-official dialogue between the Messianic Jews and the Vatican since the year 2000.

Martin Buehlmann
Martin Buehlmann and his wife, Georgia, serve as National Directors for the Vineyard Movement in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. They also lead the Berlin Vineyard and are members of the Vineyard International Executive that serves the worldwide network of over 1,500 churches. Martin is involved in dialogue between the Roman Catholic and Protestant churches and also a member of Together for Europe, a European ecumenical movement for the renewal of faith in Europe. Martin and Georgia have five children.

Dr. Scott Kelso
Dr. Scott Kelso is a Methodist minster and author. His books include: Theological Violence in the 21st Century: The Eclipse of Ethics and Morality in Today’s World, Let’s See What Sticks, and Biblical Eldership: Back to the Future with Spirit-Filled Leadership in the Local Church.

Dr. David Cole
David Cole is Provost and Professor of Historical Theology at The King’s University in Southlake, Texas. For over 30 years he has been an ordained minister with Open Bible Churches, a Pentecostal denomination. He engages in ecumenism with the Pentecostal/Charismatic Churches of North America, serving as Chair of their Christian Unity Commission, and is also the Pentecostal Co-Secretary for the International Catholic-Pentecostal Dialogue.

Walter Matthews
Walter Matthews is the former Executive Director for the National Service Committee of the Catholic Charismatic Renewal of the United States. He served in that position from January 1993 to his retirement on December 31, 2020. He began working for the National Service Committee as Associate Director in May 1984. He currently serves on the CHARIS National Service of Communion, in response to Pope Francis’ establishment of CHARIS on the international level in 2019. He also serves on the Steering Committee of the Charismatic Leaders Fellowship, an ecumenical group dating to 1970. Finally, Matthews serves on the Catholic Ecclesial Movements and New Communities in the US in Conversation under the leadership of Bishop Sam Jacobs.
He is a native of New York City and is married to the former Claire Casey (1978). The Matthews have three adult children, all of whom are married, and five grandchildren. The Matthews live in Locust Grove, Virginia.

Richard Roberts
Richard and Norma Roberts live in the southwest of England. They have been involved with the New Charismatic (‘non-denominational’) Churches since the late 1970s. Since 2012 Richard has been engaged in official contact with the Vatican and has produced a document describing the New Churches, now published on the Vatican website. He helps organize the Gathering in the Holy Spirit (Rome), the Charismatic Leaders Fellowship (USA) and is a trustee of Ffald y Brenin retreat centre in Wales. He is the author of Cultivating God’s Presence: Renewing Ancient Practices for Today’s Church.

Dr. Mary Healy
Dr. Mary Healy is professor of Scripture at Sacred Heart Major Seminary in Detroit and a bestselling author and international speaker. She is a general editor of the Catholic Commentary on Sacred Scripture and author of two of its volumes, The Gospel of Mark and Hebrews. Her other books include The Spiritual Gifts Handbook and Healing. Dr. Healy serves the Pontifical Council for Promoting Christian unity as a member of the Pentecostal-Catholic International Dialogue. She was appointed by Pope Francis as one of the first three women ever to serve on the Pontifical Biblical Commission.

Dr. Randy Clark
Dr. Randy Clark is the overseer of the Apostolic Network of Global Awakening and the founder of Global Awakening Theological Seminary. He is best known for helping spark the move of God now affectionately labeled “the Toronto Blessing.” In the years since, his influence has grown as an international speaker. Noted primarily for revival, healing and impartation, Randy’s message is simple: “God wants to use you.”

Dcn. Darrell Wentworth
Deacon Darrell Wentworth is a Catholic deacon in the Diocese of Richmond. He is the Senior Facilitator for Awakening the Domestic Church, serves within many ecumenical and evangelistic groups, and is the Executive Producer on the film The Preacher to the Popes: Raniero Cantalamessa.
Deacon Darrell Wentworth is the emcee for all the screenings and discussions.
Ashley Zahorian, M.F.A.
Ashley Zahorian, M.F.A., is the director and a producer on The Preacher to the Popes: Raniero Cantalamessa. She is the President and C.E.O. of CMAX Media Corp. and has directed or produced a wide-variety of media. She was a producer and director on FantomWorks, the most watched car reality tv show in the world. Before entering media production full-time, she served as a youth minister at Saint Matthew’s Catholic Church. She and her husband Raymond have four children.
Ashley Zahorian will be present at all screenings for questions.
